Second entry

Second entry: Something about Transantiago

For this second entry I must give my opinion about the Transantiago system but, the problem is, I don't have one. Before the whole ordeal began I lived in Temuco and never really used the bus on the one occasion I came to Santiago, and even today I mostly use the subway and haven't had any trouble at all the couple of times I've used the bus. So I guess Transantiago's o.k.
I can't really compare Transantiago to the previous system because, as I said, I never even used it, but I think I can manage: Everyone complains that Transantiago sucks, but since I find it to be pretty good I guess the previous system must have been perfect to make the current one look so bad in comparision. So I guess the government screwed that one up.
Ok, next question... I've got to compare my experiences when Transantiago started to how I use it now. Well, I never used the system before "now", but I remember being on the beach over at Villarrica and watching the whole thing on the news, and I love that beach so if I had to I would say that my experience when Transantiago started was much better than my current situation.
As to what I would change to make the system more efficient? I would make it free of charge so I wouldn't have to pay. But, of course, the system needs to be mantained somehow so I guess everyone else should pay even more for the tickets in order to compensate.
